- Country Code

Create Customer Form
The Create Customer form is not a fixed system form.
It is powered by Cinqd’s Builder module, meaning:
- This is the same master form used across CRM
- Admin users can add, remove, or modify fields
- Fields can be set as:
-
- Required
-
- Optional
- Custom fields can be created without development work
This gives businesses full flexibility to tailor CRM data to their industry, compliance needs, or internal workflows.
Setting a Customer as Private
Customers can be marked as Private to restrict visibility.
When a customer is private:
- They only appear in the Private List
- Only authorised users can view them
- Access is controlled via Roles & Permissions
Private customers are ideal for:
- High-value clients
- Confidential accounts
- Sensitive internal relationships
Customer Profile Tabs Explained
Once saved, each customer has multiple tabs:
- General – Core company information
- Contact – Contact persons & communication details
- Services – Services provided to the customer
- Work – Linked tasks and workflows
- Emails – Email communication history
- Billing – Billing-related details
- Files & Forms – Uploaded documents and completed forms
- Reviews – Internal or recorded feedback
- Custom Forms – Onboarding, tax, or compliance forms
This structure ensures every team works from a single source of truth.
Managing Customer Contacts
Each customer can have multiple contacts.
From the Contact tab you can:
- Add multiple contacts
- Define roles (e.g. Director, Finance, Admin)
- Set one contact as the Primary Contact
The Primary Contact is used as the default for:
- Email communication
- Billing correspondence
- Client portal access
Linking and Unlinking Contacts to Customers & Suppliers
In Cinqd CRM, a single contact can be linked to multiple customers and suppliers. This is useful when the same person acts as a point of contact across different companies, subsidiaries, or vendor relationships.
Why this matters
- Avoids duplicate data entry / double data entry
- Maintains a single source of truth / more efficient
- Preserves communication history across linked entities / gives visibility of a contact with multiple connections or smth as well
They can also be unlinked by clicking the cross and confirming the pop up
Viewing Linked Customers & Suppliers
When viewing a contact profile:
- Go to CRM → Customers
- Open a customer
Marking and Unmarking a Primary Contact (Blue Heart)
In Cinqd CRM, every customer and supplier must always have one Primary Contact.
The Primary Contact is identified by the blue heart icon next to the contact’s name.
This ensures there is always a clear main point of communication for each account.
What the Blue Heart Means
- 💙 Blue heart = Primary Contact
- Exactly one primary contact is required at all times
- The primary contact:
- Is the default recipient for communications
- Appears first in contact views
- Acts as the main point of responsibility for the account
Emailing the Primary Contact
When emailing from the CRM:
- The Primary Contact is selected by default
- Emails are logged automatically in the customer record
- Full communication history is visible to authorised users
This ensures consistent communication and prevents lost conversations.
Adding Services from CRM
Services can be added directly within a customer profile.
From the Services tab, you can:
- Add new services for the customer
- Define billing frequency and value
- Link services to proposals and invoicing
- Keep delivery and billing aligned
This allows teams to manage sales, service delivery, and finance in one place.
Creating Ad-hoc Tasks from Work Tab

You can:
- Create ad-hoc tasks
- Assign them to team members
- Set due dates and priorities
- Track progress against the customer
Ideal for:
- Unplanned client requests
- Follow-ups
- Quick operational actions
